• 25 March 2012. Birkensnake will be at Facing Pages, a festival of independent magazines in the Netherlands, April 20–22. I personally will not be there; it is very far away.
• 29 February 2012. I wrote down a thought for Weird Fiction Review. I do recommend the WFR, whether or not you are interested in my particular thought.
• 10 February 2012. Birkensnake mentioned (parenthetically) in The New York Times (blog), in a posting primarily devoted to better publications. “Sacred art object,” it says.
• 13 January 2012 (although actually I think this happened a while ago). Fixed Stars review by J. A. Tyler at The Nervous Breakdown. He did not really like it.
• 13 January 2012. Got a copy of digital hamper (adj noun 1:2) in the mail, featuring my story “Cherry Season.” These may not yet be orderable by the public, but if you can get one they’re very lovely. Lots of little fish in them.
